May 20th, 2009 by adminPaid Search Marketing – Should you outsource your campaign?
May 20th, 2009 by adminPaid search marketing can generate substantial business as has been proven time and time again. It is almost certainly the most cost effective marketing strategy available today. The downside is that it can be complex and hard to do properly. Should you do it yourself or should you outsource it?
The first factor to consider is obviously your time. It might seem that signing up with the major providers, generating a few key words, using the available tools to estimate costs and traffic generated, and little tidying up of your website are all that is needed. Indeed you will do it next weekend and during the following week you will see your sales figures blossom. Unfortunately it is not as simple as it seems from the outside.
It is arguably as important to achieve a high ranking in ad placement as in simple search engine ranking. This is because most people who are searching the web are quite unwilling to look at many pages of search results before they give up. In fact it has been shown that about 65% of searches progress no further than the first page someething which may turn many away from pay per click. To be seen and to be affective your ad needs to be up there on the first few pages. To get it there is a complex business and possibly should be left to the experts.
If you are going to do it yourself there are a number of things you should consider. First you need to have a business plan regarding your campaign; what are your targets and what is your budget. You need to make sure that your ad copy is appealing and that your landing page is relevant to the ad and complies with search engine guidelines. Only use optimised keywords; keywords that are not relevant will only cost you money and will not generate any sales. Maintain statistics on what is generating sales and what is not. This includes keywords and copy.
Finally, don’t just put it up there and leave it. The Paid Search Marketing space is dynamic and forever changing. You need to re-examine and update it at least once a month.
The number of hands a player plays per hour.
May 20th, 2009 by adminOne big difference between online poker and “brick and mortar” poker is the number of hands a player plays per hour. For a winning player, this will mean a much faster rate of income for a given amount of money “played” at a time, over time. For instance, in a casino a player may be dealt somewhere between thirty and forty hands per hour, while online one may be dealt fifty to one hundred-twenty hands per hour per table. If this player had two hundred dollars in play at the casino in a game with blinds of $1 and $2, a solid win rate (five times the big blind per hundred hands) would result in an hourly win rate of approximately $4 per hour. The same player could play four tables online with blinds of $0.25 and $0.50 for the same two hundred dollars, be dealt ~360 hands per hour, and, assuming the same game difficulty, and therefore win rate of five times the big blind per hundred hands, this would result in an hourly win rate of $9 per hour.
Different types of online casino bonuses
May 20th, 2009 by adminThe vast majority of casinos that you will find on the Internet will offer new and existing players some form of bonuses for signing up, depositing funds and/or playing their games. These bonuses can come in many forms including deposit bonus, player points, cash back and reduced fees. A deposit bonus credits the players account with a percentage of the amount of a corresponding deposit. Often these bonuses can be wagered but they cannot be cashed out until qualifying requirements have been satisfied, such as a minimum number of wagers. Bonus points may be offered in conjunction with amounts that are wagered and may be redeemed for cash or prizes or other types of bonuses. A cashback bonus is one that is given in the event of a player loss. If a player loses a wager, the casino may credit a percentage of the wager back to the players account. A reduced fee for placing a given wager may be offered by the casino to encourage players to place that type of wager. Whether the bonus is in the form of player points, reduced fees, cash back or deposit bonus, all are intended to encourage players to place wagers, make deposits and wager and deposit larger amounts. Casinos want to make their games more exciting and keep their players happy, in the hopes that they will continue to play on their site.
Asbestos – The Dangers
May 20th, 2009 by adminUnfortunately I have seen first hand the devastation asbestos poisoning can have on human life. What is asbestos and why is it a danger? Asbestos is a fibrous material that is naturally found in certain rock formations. These fibrous materials are very strong and non-combustible, and for those reasons it was heavily used in industry (construction mainly). Human risk from asbestos results from breathing in this fibrous material in high concentration, or over a long period of time, which can lead to asbestosis (scarring of the lungs making breathing extremely difficult), mesothelimoa (rare cancer) and lung cancer. Mesothelioma symptoms include shortness of breath, chest pain and weight loss. It can be diagnosed via chest X-ray and CT scan. Unlike some other forms of cancers which can be treated with chemotherapy, surgery or radiation therapy, the disease has a long survival rate even with early detection. Take caution and stay clear from asbestos infected areas as asbestos compensation can be very hard to come by.
